Suttraway Engg. Works Pvt. Ltd was incorporated on 24th Aug 1992.On 25th September 1995 the company’s Chincholi MIDC unit was inaugurated.

In 1998 the Company achieved ISI mark for IS-1610 Household sewing Machines vide CM/L-7165269 from Bureau of Indian Standards. "KOYNA" was the first Brand to get ISI mark in the State of Maharashtra.

The Company was awarded the District Industries Award as Best Industry for the year 1999 by the Government of Maharashtra. The Company bagged the Rate Contract of State Government of Maharashtra for the financial year 2003-04 and since is regularly bagging the same till 2014-15.

In the year 2007 the Company was successful in getting the ISI Mark for IS-15449 (Part-I) Household Zigzag/Picofall Sewing Machines form Bureau of Indian Standards vide CM/L-7730375. This time “KOYNA” was the First Company in India to get this type of ISI Mark.

The Company is having ISO-9001-2015 Certification. The Company organises Free Training Camp for Tailoring Class and Fashion Designing Teacher’s to give Knowledge of servicing & Operation of different type of Sewing Machines.

The Company every year organizes a Free Servicing Camp at their Factory and authorizes dealer outlets for their valued Customers as part of their Customer Service Responsibility

The Company launched Koyna SS 8275 Model in 2010 and Koyna Iconic in 2015 which are now one of the best seller sewing machines. From Oct 2017 for customer purchase convenience the company has tied up with BAJAJ FINSERV for easy finance and EMI options for Bajaj Card holders.

Suttraway Engineering Works Private Limited is an initiative of Mr. Ganesh Suttraway. Company was launched on 25 September 1995 in MIDC Chincholi Solapur with two products by brand name Koyna sewing machine for domestic use and industrial use. Company launched different models of Koyna sewing machines for domestic use and industrial use. Inspite of various obstacles company made its mark in this industry. Koyna feels proud to announce that it got the first ISI in its sector from Government of Maharashtra. Also Suttraway Engineering Works Private Limited got the Maharashtra state District Industrial Award in 1999.

Mr. Ganesh Suttraway is the founder and Managing director of Suttraway Engineering Works Private Limited.He is a BSc graduate and completed his Master of Management Studies from Mumbai University.

Inspite of large player in the same field Koyna has created its own market and a huge customer base for its products because of strict quality norms. Since inception the company has above1 lac satisfied Customers.

Suttraway Engineering Works Private Limited has achieved the crown of to be first and the only one ISI ranking company in the manufacturing of Zigzag and Picofall machines. The Indian Standard Bureau has granted the ISI under License No: 773037.

Suttraway Engineering Works Private Limited also has achieved the ISO 9001 2015 certificate. The certification was granted for production and supply process for sewing machines under brand name KOYNA.
